Privacy Policy

Website delivery, contact messages and local Pixel Studio files.

Data controller and privacy contact

The data controller for this website and enquiries sent to us is Robin Dhital, operating as Rockr Studio. This policy covers the Rockr Studio website and describes the local and optional sharing behavior of Pixel Studio 0.23.0. For privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete personal data, email rockrockrobin2013@gmail.com. Operator details are also available in the Legal Notice.

Website delivery and technical data

The public website is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. On that hosted site, Cloudflare processes the technical requests needed to deliver its pages and assets. Those requests include an IP address, requested URL, time and browser information. Hosting security and access logs may record this information to operate the site, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. This technical processing is distinct from advertising analytics. Cloudflare receives website request/network data; hosting this website does not upload Pixel Studio projects or artwork to Cloudflare. More information is available in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

What the website itself does

The site has no account system, contact form, payment form, advertising tracker or installed visitor-analytics script. Documentation search and filters run in your browser; search text is not sent to a Rockr Studio search service. Search text included in a page URL can be part of a normal hosting request. Copy buttons write the displayed contact details to your clipboard only when you click them. The site code does not read your clipboard or set cookies or persistent browser storage.

Logos, scripts and styles are served with the site. Media containers do not load external videos or fabricated footage. A hosting security service may process technical data separately from the site code; no analytics or optional tracking integration is enabled in this website package. Cloudflare Web Analytics is not included in the site, and the intended launch configuration leaves it disabled. No non-essential cookie-consent interface is needed for the current site code.

Email, commissions and support requests

If you contact us, the receiving email or messaging service processes your message, account or email address, and any attachments you choose to send. We use those details to respond, investigate an issue or discuss your requested commission. Gmail is provided by Google; Google’s privacy policy applies to its processing. If you contact us on Discord, see Discord’s privacy policy. Only send files you have permission to share. We do not acquire ownership of your artwork through a support request.

Payments

No support checkout or Pixel Studio Pro purchase is enabled. This website does not receive card details or create a payment account. Before payments are enabled, provider details, payment-data handling and applicable transaction terms will be disclosed.

Local desktop files

Pixel Studio’s normal editing workflow keeps artwork, projects, scenes, preferences, recovery files and retained version history on your computer or a location you choose. Opening or editing a local file does not automatically upload it to Rockr Studio, and local editing does not require a Rockr Studio account. A folder that you independently sync or share through another service follows that service’s rules. Deleting a working file may leave recovery or history copies; review those locations and your backups when removing content.

Optional collaboration

When you explicitly host or join a Windows sharing session, participants exchange the shared artwork snapshots, names, roles, presence, comments and activity needed for that session. The host keeps the shared state. Invite links grant access and should be shared privately with the intended person. Publishing a snapshot is explicit; it is not continuous live editing. Other participants may retain copies they receive, even after access is revoked. There is no Rockr Studio-hosted cloud collaboration service in this build.

Plugins and diagnostics

Local .pxplugin packages request permissions before approval. The current API permits supported document and interface operations, but does not grant network or arbitrary filesystem access. Plugin edits can change local artwork; review the author, permissions and any separate terms. The package inspection identified no automatic telemetry or crash-upload service. Error messages and local recovery are not, by themselves, reports sent to Rockr Studio. Windows and services you independently use may have their own diagnostics. Sending us a bug report is your choice.

Purpose, retention and service providers

Website technical data is used to deliver and protect the site; contact data is used to answer requests and handle agreed work. Where a legal basis is required, this includes legitimate interests in providing and securing the website and responding to enquiries, steps requested before an agreement, performing an agreement, or legal obligations as applicable. Optional processing requiring consent will be explained before it is enabled.

Contact messages and attachments are kept only while needed to handle the enquiry, maintain necessary records, resolve a dispute or meet legal requirements, then deleted when no longer needed. Provider logs and backups follow the relevant service arrangements; this policy does not promise a universal deletion period for provider systems. Local desktop files and shared-session copies are controlled by the people storing them, not by a central Rockr Studio account.

Hosting, email and messaging providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. Their published privacy information describes their processing and transfer arrangements. We do not sell support messages or artwork or use them for advertising profiles. The current website does not make automated decisions about visitors with legal or similarly significant effects.

Your requests and rights

Email rockrockrobin2013@gmail.com to ask about personal data held through your enquiries or to request access, correction or deletion. Describe the relevant interaction and what you are requesting; do not send a copy of an identity document unless it is needed and requested. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive portable data or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Some records may need to be retained by law. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify a request. You may complain to the relevant data-protection authority; in Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Changes

We will update this policy when website or app data practices change. New hosted accounts, cloud storage, analytics or payment services require their own accurate disclosures before activation.
